Title: Incurable
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Draco/Harry
Length: Chaptered, complete
Rating: NC-17
Genre: romance, drama, angst, some humor/fluff
Warning: child abuse, violence, nonmagic AU, Harry and Ron not being friends, rimming (lol), mentor!Snape, some OC's
Why this is awesome: I actually don't really know my relationship with nonmagical AUs, but this one was fabulous. I love aggressive!Harry (because I really like aggressive characters, tbqh) and I love Draco because he's a ponce, but when he and Harry are together they're totally different and it's completely sweet. I love Harry/Hermione friendship (even though I was missing that Ron friendship ;__;) and also the little bit of Draco/Hermione friendship because it was sweet. And while I am not a supremely huge fan of mentor!Snape, in this it was lovely :'D Also, I would like to punch the Dursleys, tyvm.

Title: Billywigs
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: James/Lily, Snape/Sirius enemyship
Length: Chaptered, complete
Rating: PG-13, though marked as PG by the author
Genre: friendship, romance, humor, drama
Warning: references to getting high (Wizarding version), written before DH so the Snape/Lily unrequited love is not canon
Why this is awesome: So many references to Harry's generation - with James getting a big head (HAHA) and Ron mentioning that his uncle saw a Grim... oh, poor Bilius. Anyways. Yes. Read.

Title: Magical Relations
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Harry-centric, Dudley/Harry friendship, other pairings mostly canon
Length: Chaptered, INCOMPLETE AS OF RIGHT NOW
Rating: PG-13
Genre: friendship, humor, drama, adventure
Warning: alternate reality - Dudley is a wizard
Why this is awesome: My friend Katherine recommended this to me, and I haven't regretted reading it even though it's currently incomplete. It's amazing, and the writing only gets better on, and the plot is well-crafted, as well as Petunia and Vernon and everything. Harry's a Slytherin this time, mostly because of Dudley - but I really think it's great. Well I think this story is great in general, so :D

Title: Eclipse
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Draco/Harry
Length: Chaptered, complete
Rating: PG-13
Genre: friendship (very very eventual romance), drama, adventure, angst/humor/fluff
Warning: AU after OotP
Why this is awesome: This is really, incredibly amazing, and definitely makes it to my favorites of my favorites. It's incredibly well-written, and the writing style only gets better as the story progresses, and I love how Draco and Harry's relationship develops - it's slow and steady and it touches on the past and it's amazing and BRILLIANT, and I really can't think of any other way how they can get much closer together. Every single character is incredible, three-dimensional, and nothing is brushed aside or left out because the character covers so much. Even though it's a different way for Voldemort to be immortal (seeing as the Horcruxes weren't introduced till HBP, and this is AU after OotP), it's believable, well-explained and just... amazing. Also, have I mentioned that I love Draco and Harry's relationship? Have I? Well I'll say it again - in this story, it is REALLY REALLY AMAZING and even though one has to be patient to wait for the romance, it is all worth it and their friendship alone is enough to make me fell happy and giddy and warm in the heart. Draco undergoes so many changes in this story, and it's absolutely perfect. I really, really want it to go on forever and have a sequel and stuff - but all good things must come to an end, and this is one of the better things.

Title: The Road Less Travelled (PG-13) & Sequel: Three Steps Back (R)
Fandom: Harry Potter, next gen
Pairing: Scorpius/Albus
Length: Chaptered, complete
Rating: R
Genre: romance, friendship, loads of drama and angst, slight humor/fluff
Warning: not normal portrayals of characters, mentions of het, underage pregnancy
Why this is awesome: This isn't the normal way AS/S & co. are represented, so it doesn't feel quite as real - but it's fantastically written and very, very gut-clenching. Good for those who like to explore different types of writing :D

Title: Bond
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Draco/Harry
Length: Chaptered, complete
Rating: NC-17
Genre: romance, drama, humor/angst/fluff, loads of smut 8D
Warning: AU after OotP, a lot of smut
Why this is awesome: This is definitely one of the most popular Harry/Draco stories out there (along with IP and Eclipse, which I will soon be reccing ;D) and for good reason, too: there's loads of hot, steamy, amazing smut (which is always a plus), an enthralling plotline, well-characterized characters, brilliant use of language, and just everything about it is so amazing. This is an incredible masterpiece (and long and goes on forever, yay.) A MUST-READ ♥♥♥

Title: Irresistible Poison
Fandom: Harry Potter

Length: Chaptered, complete
Rating: PG-13
Genre: romance, drama, angst/humor/fluff
Warning: AU after GoF
Why this is awesome: I'm pretty sure if you're a hardcore Draco/Harry shipper, you've definitely heard of this story before. It's well-written and the plot is certainly enthralling (and I bawled at the end of chapter 13, negl), and though the story is a bit restricted in terms of setting and situation, it's very well-done.

Title: Real World
Author: suppi-kero-chans @ Fanfiction.net
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Harry-centric, a bit of Draco/Harry (but not loads, mind you), hints to Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione and other semi-canon pairings
Length: Chaptered, complete
Rating: PG-13
Genre: friendship, family, humor, drama, some angst, mystery, adventure
Warning: non British vocabulary, non-magic AU (but not really!), a bit of religious turmoil
Why this is awesome: This story is amazing. A lot of people seemed to be irritated at the non-British speak, but since I'm assuming that the author isn't British, I think it's excusable - not everyone is aware of the major differences in slang, you know. All that aside, Lily and James's relationship with Harry is exactly how I would imagine it, and all the character alterations in the "real world" are honestly so, so brilliant. Plus, Tom Riddle/Voldemort's role couldn't have been more perfect - and I'm religious and I'm saying this, so XD Also, non-magic!Harry is a prat, and I think that's pretty awesome.

Warning: Again, non-magic AU but it is fabulously done so don't even worry about it.
Why this is awesome: SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS FIC. I loved their relationship.

And you know it is a fabulous thing when I quote my reviews because I simply have too much love.

This is an amazing story. Most of what's been said basically describes my feelings - but you have practically everything down completely pat. I love the way your style changed and escalated with the mood and tone, and how the relationship between Draco and Harry wasn't /perfect/ but slowly mended together into something that was beautiful. I also adore the hilarious banter, the verisimilitude of the growing of their relationship, the characters, Snape and Narcissa (SO MUCH), and also how you weave in so much magical!verse into this story. Fantastic job.

Title: How & Why
Author: randomsomeone @ Fanfiction.net
Fandom: Naruto
Pairing: Gaara/Sakura
Length: chaptered
Rating: R
Genre: romance, drama
Why this is awesome: This story is a giant, fantastic mindfuck. Completely. Not only was the characterization absolutely amazing, the depth that the author went to in order to give realism to the characters was just jdigal;gjiarl; I love how Gaara wasn't portrayed as suddenly becoming "normal", instead, he's not so much into bloodlust, and yet he still retains his animalistic side. What I also like is how their relationship slowly evolves into something more than just being acquaintances, but it's hidden inside deep conversations. ALSO, DARK MOODS AND A SHITLOAD OF TENSION. EVERYWHERE. I LOVE IT.

Title: Must Have Done Something Right
Author: MissPronounced @ FF.net
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Albus/Scorpius
Length: Chaptered, complete
Rating: NC-17 (but only because 2 chapters of smut)
Genre: romance, drama, humor, light fluff, slight angst
Why this is awesome: 70 chapters of awesomeness. Yet again, I wrote an essay for a review, so I will post that here (a bit of spoilers to the fic):

I have to say, this was an amazing story :'D For several reasons. First of all, I love how you made your OCs - a lot of Al/Scorpius stories with OCs just sort of make them you know, there, on the side, for the sake of characters - but your OCs really shined through, and there weren't just /there/ and they weren't just completely two dimensional - they had a role in the story. In addition to that, I really really loved how even though you made Mel seem like the bad guy at points, you allowed us/the reader/Albus/everyone else to see that she actually had /feelings/ and wasn't just being a douche canoe for nothing. And the homophobic parts? Brilliant, heartbreaking and completely realistic (though I'm glad to say that I've never witnessed anything like that in my life - thank goodness.) You really put tons of verisimilitude in this that every bit of it is completely realistic. I have to admit that in the beginning, I had a few doubts - but after a few chapters, it definitely paid off in the end. I clicked on the title because I love the song you named it after (hahahaha, Relient K is such a great band), and I see how it fits and oh, Al and Scorpius are so sweet. You definitely have an incredible take on words and language - your ability to convey the emotions throughout this entire story was amazing, really. Even from two points of view, you kept it limited and you had a grasp on the rules of grammar and it was really obvious that you knew what you were doing, as an author and just as someone who knows a little bit about English.

+ I also love Slytherin!Al and Slytherin!Scorp, and while my preferences lie with top!Scorpius, Scorpius in this story was /adorable/ and was obviously gay but not flamboyantly gay (which is my favorite kind of gay) and Al is hot, so it works. :D And Lily and James were brilliant, as well as Teddy and Andrea and Claire and Harry (oh my god, his idiocy and tactlessness) and Draco AND ASTORIA. I love love love how both Harry and Draco are happily married - that's my favorite type of Harry and Draco (not EWE, of course), happily married with Ginny and Astoria, respectively. And although they weren't in this that much, it was perfectly endearing.

You really captured the essence of Albus and Scorpius, in your own (fabulous) way. I'll also add that your smut was not in the least bad, but downright fantastic. ^^

Title: Two Sides of the Same Coin
Author: [livejournal.com profile] noiselessheart
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Draco/Harry
Length: Chaptered, complete
Rating: PG-13
Genre: romance, drama, angst and humor thrown in here and there
Why this is awesome: My review/reason why this story fucking owns my life and the internet and everything:

Beautiful, beautiful piece. I'm completely stunned at the use of language and vocabulary portrayed in this story, along with every little detail that basically sweeps me off my feet. It picked up gracefully from the end of (Epilogue-less) Deathly Hallows, back to when they're in school for eighth year, all emotions enstilled in every character. The reason I love this story so much is because Harry and Draco have so much history together and it's touched in this, but it also evolved and wove into something beautiful and wonderful. It wasn't too sappy and embarrassingly cheesy; it was emotional and over-and-about realistic, and that's what I loved about it the most. There's an indefinite amount of emotion and the drama was so breathtaking and it had me in from the first scene - oh, the /prologue/ really made me feel for Draco, so, so much. It got past JK Rowling's possible biases and gave Draco depth. The Ginny/Harry friendship made me smile and Ron was Ron and Hermione was Hermione and it was so perfect. The ending made me giggle and the whole thing tugged at my heartstrings and made me smile. Perfect.

Not to mention when [livejournal.com profile] dummydoll finished reading this, we spazzed for about ten minutes. Even though I had finished this story a few days before. XD

Anyways, this is a fucking masterpiece and I recommend it to anyone who is reading this or not reading this or is in HP fandom or not in HP fandom. Because it is definitely one of my most favorite stories of all time. ♥♥♥
