Why this is awesome: So one of my friends got me into Spander, and now I can't stop because I love Spike so much (it has something to do with the hair, I KNOW IT). But this pairing is unnnffffff and so is this story. Even though it's not really something I generally read, it was SO GOOD. SO GOOD. The author is so fucking amazing like oh my God--I can't believe she came up with so many alternate reality scenes in this thing, it boggles my mind. But the characters--she's done the characterization so well, and I love it. Definitely one of my favourite stories ever.

!There is a sequel to this story, Quantum Xander 2.
